Kuskovo estate built in 18th century is situated in Moscow. This wonderful summer residence of the Sheremetyev dukes was used for glamorous parties, performances and festivities. More than 20 architecture pieces (for instance, the Palace, Big stone flowery, the Grotto, the old church, etc.) survived till nowadays. The estate has a wonderful French style park with marble sculptures, ponds and beautiful pavilions. The Palace keeps its original layout and interior decorations with marvelous western European and Russian fine art pieces; unique collection of paintings of the 18th century, portraits given by the royal family and portraits of the Sheremetyevs. The estate received the title of a state museum in 1919 and in 1938 it merged with the Ceramics Museum. It's one of the biggest museums in Europe that has peculiar collection of ceramic and glass pieces of all times from all over the world. The collection has more than 30 000 pieces Italian majolica, Venice, English and Russian glass, Sevre and oriental porcelain. The museum has a unique collection of Russian porcelain of the 18th century. Annually 3-4 exhibitions take place in the museum. The estate has facilities for festivities and performances. Concerts and music festivals take place in the Dance Palace in summer.
